Attended a 2 day fire District association Class in Sacramento: Fire District Law.
Assigned as Strike Team leader for El Dorado County response to Malibu Fire.
Visited Hwy 50 Corridor Fire Stations and Chiefs.
3 Meetings with Georgetown Chief: mutual response and operations.
Attended a Class in Sacramento on the new Firefighter employee Bill of Rights law that goes into effect on January 1, 2008.
Attended December El Dorado County Fire Chiefs meeting at Folsom College.
Attended December JPA meeting in Diamond Springs.
Responded to numerous emergency dispatches throughout the month of November.
Continued to familiarizing myself with the District, working to organize our finances, meeting one on one with employees and volunteers, reviewing policies and procedures and making arrangements to start working on the new Strategic Plan in January.
Conducted the first operation s staff meeting with all responder employees. Staff meeting will be held on the first Wednesday of every month.
Attended the Support Group Appreciation Dinner.
Met with individual Fire Board members numerous times.
