Left for Arizona on December 14 to move family and home to Garden Valley. A/C Bob Bement served as acting chief in my absence.
Returned to duty December 20, 2007.
Interviewed by Rebecca Murphy, Georgetown Gazette.
Met with El Dorado County Auditor/Controller Joe Harn on GVFPD issues.
Numerous personal/individual meetings with GVFPD Fire Board members.
Represented GVFPD at various holiday community functions.
Met with GVFPD fy 06-07 auditor Bob Johnson, GVFPD financial issues.
Responded to emergency dispatches when available.
Attended El Dorado County Fire Chiefs meeting in Cameron Park.
Held monthly mandatory operational staff meeting with officers and career staff.
